Description
UltraCord Nylon Rope is manufactured from high-grade synthetic nylon fibers to deliver superior tensile strength, flexibility, and abrasion resistance. Its excellent shock-absorbing properties make it ideal for heavy-load applications. The rope performs reliably in wet and dry conditions and offers resistance to oils, chemicals, and weather exposure. Suitable for industrial, marine, agricultural, and construction use.
Applications:
Breaking Strength: A 16mm polyester rope can offer strengths around 25kN (approx. 2,500 kg) for safety applications.
- 16 mm (approx. 5/8 inch): Common in high-strength polyester or nylon for, tree climbing, heavy-duty rigging, and mooring.
- 18 mm: Used in 8-strand nylon for high-strength mooring or towing (e.g., 7,341kg breaking load).
- 20 mm and above: Used for industrial applications, large vessel mooring, and heavy lifting.
- 25 mm+ (1 inch+): Heavy-duty applications, often steel wire rope or thick fiber ropes for massive loads.
Weight: As diameter increases, the weight per meter increases significantly, reducing portability.
- Lifting and load securing
- Marine and boating operations
- Construction and scaffolding
- Agricultural tying and fencing
- Cargo fastening and transport
