Acceptance of Terms
By accessing, browsing, or purchasing from Korapak.com (the “Site”), you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions. These terms apply to all visitors, registered users, wholesale buyers, and customers of Korapak Uganda. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use this website or our services.
2. Products and Intended Use
2.1 Industrial & Commercial Use: All products sold by Korapak, including but not limited to DPM rolls, packaging films, strapping materials, tools, adhesives, and construction accessories, are intended primarily for industrial, commercial, and professional use. Customers are responsible for ensuring product suitability for their specific application.
2.2 Product Descriptions & Tolerances: We make every reasonable effort to ensure accuracy. However, minor variations in color, thickness (microns), weight, or texture may occur due to manufacturing processes. Such variations are considered acceptable within standard industrial tolerances and do not constitute defects.
2.3 Modification: Korapak reserves the right to update product specifications or discontinue items without prior notice.
3. Pricing and Payments
3.1 Pricing Currency: All prices are in Ugandan Shillings (UGX) unless otherwise stated.
3.2 Payment Methods: We accept Mobile Money (MTN & Airtel), Bank Transfer/EFT, and Credit/Debit Cards via our secure gateway.
3.3 Order Confirmation: Orders are processed only after payment verification. For EFT/Bank Transfers, goods are released only when funds fully reflect in Korapak’s account.
3.4 Quotation Validity: Pro-forma invoices and bulk quotes are valid for 7 days due to fluctuating raw material costs, unless otherwise stated.
4. Shipping and Delivery
4.1 Delivery Costs: Charges are calculated based on weight, volume, and destination. These will be communicated and must be settled before dispatch.
4.2 Delivery Timelines: Standard/Small Orders: Items under 10 pieces or light goods within Kampala and Wakiso are typically delivered within 30 minutes to 2 hours. Bulk/Large Orders: Industrial-scale orders are delivered within 3 to 5 business days following confirmed receipt of payment.
4.3 Delays: All delivery times are estimates. Korapak is not liable for delays caused by third-party logistics, traffic, weather, or Force Majeure events.
4.4 Risk Transfer: Risk of loss or damage transfers to the customer upon delivery to the site or handover to the customer’s designated transporter.
5. Returns, Exchanges, and Refunds
5.1 Inspection: Customers must inspect goods immediately. Discrepancies (damage, incorrect items, or missing quantities) must be reported within 48 hours.
5.2 Return Conditions: Returns are accepted only for unused, uninstalled items in original industrial packaging with proof of purchase. Custom-cut or special-order materials are non-returnable.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Korapak shall not be liable for:
Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (e.g., project delay penalties).
Loss of profits or business interruption. Improper installation or misuse of industrial tools and materials.
Storage: Customers are responsible for the proper storage of moisture-sensitive materials (like adhesives or paper-based packaging) once delivered.
7. Intellectual Property
All website content, including product names, images, logos, and technical descriptions, is the intellectual property of Korapak and may not be reproduced without written consent.
8. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Uganda.
